Safe fire protection was founded in 1998 by Stuart Leslie following 10 years working for the largest extinguisher supplier and manufacturer (at the time).
Stuart decided to use his vast experience to provide a more local, customer-centric organisation, following a number of years of steady growth servicing some of the high streets most well known brands (Field and Trek, Seetec, Abbots Estate Agents, Bairstow Eves to name but a few).
Over the years the company has grown and also faced challenges but has always kept the community that has supported it at the forefront of its mind, sponsoring many local charities and fundraising events as well as even hosting some of their own. In recent years at Christmas prizes of up to £1,000 have been awarded to customers to help with those Christmas expenses.
Approaching its third decade in business Safe Fire protection now employs 5 people as well as having a number of sub-contractors who have their own specialties within fire safety and continues to provide expert risk based solutions to both local and national companies alike. Having added fire risk assessments and fire warden training to their catalogue of services in 2019 over 600 people for some of the largest corporations (including Subway) have benefitted from the services Safe Fire Protection offer.
With Stuarts’ son running the day to day operations at Safe Fire Protection, it truly remains a family run business that treats your business and your staff like an extension of that family.

Safe Fire Protection consultants are highly qualified in all aspects of fire safety and fire engineering (to MSc Level in Fire Engineering) with some of them even lecturing at universities! They are all also fully conversant with ADB (Approved Document B), BS 9999, as well as bespoke fire-engineered solutions.
